Its about an order placed in April of this year. Just wanted to know the status of order. I know you can not ship something you don't have . I have ordered other items from Vendor's that were out but they said so and did follow up. Example Mountain Models were out of Carbom Booms but sent several emails. Took the time to let me know and item arrived when they got what they needed . The post was directed to H/L, sorry for lack of info on this post.

I agree with you on follow up emails. It would sure be nice to know in advance where your hard earned money is. I am currently waiting on a $300 dollar order that is still sitting somewhere in Taiwan or HK. I requested that the order be held until all items were available. I start thinking about it each week, and feel like there is supposed to be a lot of airplane goodies on my doorstep when I get home from work, but it hasn't happened yet. So then it's back-tracking time, and I need to find the company I purchased it from along with their website, and then I need to remember my login info:censored: Then after all of that.. I can see my order is still being held (as per my request) while I wait on a small bag of hinges.

A simple once a week heads up email would be great, but I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon.


I just went through a similar, yet not so similar issue with HL. Mr. Graves was informed of it, and actually took time out of his busy schedule to make it right. But a lot of what I was complaining about was self induced. If I had taken a little more time to do some research on my own, I never would have made a purchase that I couldn't use, and I wouldn't have started a mini rant about it.

HL has always been fair with me. They have even called me to let me know the day that a new product would be available to the public (Flying Styro A-10). You can't beat the customer service they provide. If you feel that you were attacked, then maybe you can look at all the email and think about the phone calls you made.

I'm thinking there may have been a breakdown in communication. I didn't understand what you were ranting about initially, so I needed you to clarify the details. Perhaps this is where things went wrong for you with HL ???

All I'm saying is give them a chance to make things right before getting so upset about it and unleashing a rant with name calling and the works. It's just bad for the community unless it's truly legit, and even then I believe that things can be worked out.

I am very interested in hearing how this works out for you. Please keep this post alive and let us know.
