Please help - I am quite new to electric flying and computer radios. I have an Hitec optic 6 sport and I am experincing different power output when shifting from model memory 1 to model memory 2. I have tested this on two different setups.
Setup one:
Towerpro 5330 9T - Turnigy 100 ESC - Hextronik 10s 4100 15-25C - APC e 22x12 - Hitec 08OR receiver, gives in model memory 1 2050w and in memory 2 2900w.
Setup two:
Towerpro 4130 7T - Hextronik 80A ESC - Hextronik 5s 4100 15-25C - APC e 17x10 - Corona 6ch synt receiver, gives in model memory 750w and in memory 2 1100w.
I have cheked EPA and subtrim.

Thanks in advanced

I have an optic 6 which is similar but I can't see how this can happen.
EPA and subtrim would be logical reasons for a change of power.
Other than that the next point to look at is the actual initial memory set up.
Could one of them be set up on Heli mode?, in which case the flight mode switch will affect the motor charecteristics.

I have double cheked it is in acro mode. :-)

I will check my manual a little bit later and see if I can dredge anything else up.

Did you copy your set up from memory 1 to memory 2 or was it a new set up?
What happens if you do the same again with memory 3?

If you try the memory 3 test it will indicate which is the memory with the anomoly so may make it easier to track down.

The largest nubers are the ones expected, and the ones I got with another Tx/Rx

How old is your Optic 6 Sport?

I recall that I read somewhere on line in RCG that there was a firmware issue with the earlier versions of the Optic 6 which did affect the throttle subtrim on memory 1.

I wonder if you have an issue like this?

I have gone right through my manual for the Optic 6 and can't find anything else likely to cause this issue. I would try and contact Hitec and see if they can suggest something.

Thanks - I will avoid this memory for electric powerd planes. Will use it on my 26cc gasoline Extra.

Do you have a pulse width checker? Check if both memories have the same endpoints. Or put a servo on the throttle channel and check the output(endpoint angle on the servo arm) to see if the endpoint is the same.
