HELP Lancair electric

Been trying to convert my Lancair EP plane from the useless can motor to the outrunner brushless. Anyone have any suggestions on what modifications I will have to do to complete this project.

It is a WONDERFUL plane after the conversion-use at least 200 watts.

Look for the thread, but here is what I did: take the gearbox off the motor mount, remove the rear plate of the gearbox, throw the gearbox as far away as you can, and use the rear plate to make a plywood template (or use the plate) with the SAME 2 mounting holes, and mount the outrunner of your choice.

It is a beautiful airplane, that flys like a dream with a brushless motor!

Thank you for the help. Wish I would have read that before I Dremeled the front off and made a plywood firewall. May just buy another fuse and take your suggestion.
