Rpm Doesn't Display Right

I have the pro system on my Extra 260 with a 100cc twin. I am using the factory magnet for the pick-up. My recorder only says the engine is turning 37 rpm. I updated the firmware and set the ratio to 2.9 to 1 and now I have to wait till I run the plane again to see if it works or not. Is there any recommendations on what ratio to use in a case like this other than 2.0?

Hi rceagle1a,

There is a trick to using the factory magnet. First, place one of Eagle Tree's magnets on top of the factory magnet. if the red line of our magnet ends up facing DOWN (hidden) mount the RPM sensor so that the writing of the sensor faces the magnet.

If Eagle Tree's magnet faces so that the red line is UP, mount the sensor so that the writing is AWAY from the magnet (don't forget to remove the Eagle Tree magnet after the test).
