Hey,
I'm new to RC boating and was wondering if there was a company that made model yachts or cruise ships. :D

There are several companies. Are you looking for sail yachts or motor yachts? Check out the following companies: Loyalhanna Dockyard (http://www.loyalhannadockyard.com/); Dumas Models (http://www.dumasestore.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=47); or Harbor Models (http://www.harbormodels.com/Harbormain/Templates/home.htm).
Here's a partial list of yachts and cruise ships.

Harbor Models sells the San Remo (http://www.harbormodels.com/site08/info_pages/robbe/san_remo_motor_yacht_info.htm) for 79.99. Also, MRC has the Atlas 540 (http://www.modelrectifier.com/search/product-view.asp?ID=1240) on sale for 45.98.
If you are looking for RTR, the options are more limited. See the thread on the Hobby Engine St. Tropez on this same forum. Also, Hobbypeople.net has something called the CBM Marlin Cruiser coming later this year and it lists for 149.99. Just can't see a picture of it yet. :(

Thank you
I kinda like the RTR boats. I'd rather have them ready to run than build them.

How good is the Atlantio?

as good as any other kyosho, and being an RTR it has tankograd plastic that compared to normal kits, is in the realms of armor plating!
also check out the St Tropez by Hobby Engine /ex Graupner. If I get an atlantico I may twin screw it :)

Actually, the Atlantios available on E-Bay, Raidentech, etc. are already twin-screw and use the "vector-push" design for steering. No proportional speed control or steering. Definitely more toy-grade than hobby-grade.

Is there a company that makes trailers for model boats that go on RC cars and trucks

not sure, though Tamiya do RC semi trucks with trailers,
Volvo FH 16 to peterbilt 379's reefers curtainsiders, flats and low-beds. only thing is, they're pricey
however, a Volvo FH16 with a flat bed, carrying a cruiser will look nice on the display stand. for about $30 you could get an Italeri 1/24th scale semi truck (static only) to display it at exhibitions

At the top of this thread, Loyalhanna Dockyard was mentioned. Has anyone else had my experience with them; they take your order (and money), but do not deliver the merchandise? Back in February I ordered some little nav lights. Some shipped to me in a month or two. Some have never shipped to me, after repeated e-mail bugging them.

I never really wanted to use Loyalhanna anyway.
Thanks Don for the tip.
