anyone know what which wires are positive & negative on the Mabuchi 540 stock motor?

the mabuchi motor has green & yellow wires.

the ESC has red (positive) and black (negative) wires.

One other thing, I did have the set up running, but I had to disconnect and take
the chassis apart abit in order to install the ESC switch (its' pretty darn hard
to screw in a 2mm screw & nut together). in the process, I forgot which color
wire goes to.

yellow is pos, green is negative, not that it really matters since the motor
doesn't have a timing adjust on it.
