I'm working on a basic autonomous control system for a small electric airplane. Has anyone had any luck using the capabilities of a Vex Robotics system for a basic autopilot? I'm also using an Eagle Tree Systems FDR Pro system for telemetry. Can this be interfaced somehow?

The only real experience I have with autopilot control is a basic altitude-hold system I set up using an ultrasonic sensor for "radar" altitude, so I'm no expert here...

Thanks,

RJ

Not Vex, but we did make a Lego Mindstorms autopilot. I think the Eagle Tree sensors use I2C, which Mindstorms can read, so in theory they can be interfaced.
