I did it I started the engine!!

I really have no idea what i'm doing. It started but when I gave it full throttle it seemed to drag or not be full throttle. Then when I idled it konked out.

is it all about getting that needle right, too rich or not enough?

oh well Im done for the night that gave me enough of a scare just running the engine. That prop goes pretty fast.

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

probably too rich if it sounded like it bogged when you ran it up. try leaning it a bit.

also, next time, start the engine with the high speed need about 2 turns out then work from there
