search for Bill Hempel on youtube and their's quite a bit of amazing flying videos ... neat one with a 50% scale cub doing knife edge and inverted passes and one wheeled touch and goes.

that's pretty impressive. There was a big research push for that kind of thing back in the mid '80s, then it seemed like it died out a little. I never really understood why we didn't push it into production. Think about a fighter pilot having the opportunity to fly back from hostile territory instead of parachuting down to a waiting enemy. Big advantages all around.
