We will SELL you the product for 10% LESS than the competitor's advertised price!
I contacted hobby-lobby sales about a Hitec Radio I was interested in. I had seen 2-3 other sites selling for about $20.00 less. I forwarded all the advertised prices and links to HL expecting them to honor their "Guarentee". I was told the best they could do is meet the competitors price. There are no asterics or fine print on the price beat guarentee page. The advertised item I listed the price for met all the conditions of the HL guarentee.
I am very unhappy about this. Just another case of false guarentees and promises that vendors do not keep. I also asked the sales person to to fowarded my inquiry to a manager's attention so I could hear from them that HL really does not stand behind their own written guarentees. This was not done.
This is really making me question any future purchases from HL. Please remove or edit the false guarentee you have listed on your website. It is deceptive advertising and just a waste of the customers time to pursue. "Buy it where you saw it for less" is basically the message I got from HL support. I could have done that without wasting the effort. I always thought HL was a reputable vendor who stood behind thier guarentees. I was wrong.
