Here are a few photos from this weekend's Shanghai Model Expo.
Aside from seeing Italeri's new S-100, which was a very nice surprise, it was was expected: 70% helos/planes/jets, 20% buggies/cars/trucks & 5% speed/sail boats with dozens of battery/motor/radios/servo vendors & a little cheesecake thrown in. ;)

HobbyMaster makes the KT, but unfortunately its a die-cast display model. Tamiya's 1/16 Leopard was the only RC tank at the show.

I'd have to say its the most expensive model which will require the highest amount of upkeep. BTW, she's 21 & available. I know since the photographer who was asking her to pose told me later he got her number. China can be like a candy store to many but I'll just stick with my boats - am too busy to have an er ni.

And NOBODY "accidently" dropped something on the floor waiting for her to pick it up?

... okay.. the seaplane battle carrier ... what scale is it?.. what does the box say (is it an oyodo?) and where do I get one!??!!
I've been trying to find larger then 1/350 scale IJN battle carrier models that I can RC convert... I don't remeber all their 'real' names just the ships they were made from .. there was the 2 cruisers (one being the mogami.. I can't remeber the other) .. and the Ise Battleship convert

Down boys.... you'll need a see a doctor once you've caught yellow fever.
Not sure, since aside from Yankee Modelworks offers a 1/350 resin waterline kit, I've not seen anything other than 1/700 kit. I'm not up on the Japanese kit market so there may be some obscure model available. Try posting over at Modelwarship Mogami forum (http://www.shipmodels.info/mws_forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=35009&st=0&sk=t&sd=a) .
Chikuma, a Tone class cruiser, was another large seaplane carrier.
