I've found various calculators for servo torque on fixed-wing control surfaces. I guess I can get a rough idea of heli cyclic torque requirements by assuming the rotor blades are just long and thin control surfaces and using the blade speed for the model speed. (Of course the effective speed varies as a function of radial distance from the hub, but I can take an average or just use the tip speed.) But does anyone know of a more heli-specific formula or calculator? Thanks!
