Last summer my 9 YO Kate and I had a blast flying a sheet balsa Jetex 5o powered glider. Since I needed a 'test bed' for a new airbrush compressor decided to build the Easybuilt MIG 15. 16" span. Printwood (with lines that look like they were drawn with crayon!) kit.
Came out OK though some wrinkles in LE of wings. Waiting for red stars in order placed with tower. Compressor worked just fine, 50% aerogloss, and now don't have to worry about using up $10 bottles of canned air.
No flights yet. Awaiting better weather...

Don't sweat the wrinkles, this ain't no movie star ;) Somewhere in my archives I have a photo of a DH Moth with the greatest set of covering wrinkles on the vertical fin, starting at the leading edge: this aircraft was in a MUSEUM!

I am envious of the availability of Jetex, as well as the Rapier rockets, simply not available in the boonies...:(
