I am forming a team of R/C builders,and any like minded person to help beet the current R/C Solar Powered World Altitude Record. I am in need of many people of different disciplines to help accomplish this goal. The record attempt will be in Southern California. I am fortunate to have found support but I have a long way to go. The more people that get involved the more we can do for our charity. All proceeds from the record attempt will go to local charity. I just want thank all of you who have visited our site and gave your well wishes. We are making progress towards our goal slowly and this is going to take a while only because we wish to raise as much money for our charity as possible. There have been some great updates to our blog site. You can now show your support by adding the "I support solar 4 kids" badge to your social networking site and help raise awareness. You can also now make a secure donation to our cause with our donation button. There are bigger things to come so keep checking back.

Thank you to everyone who has commented on this record. Just to clarify our record attempt is for a model aircraft not uav so the ceiling is much much lower.
