Great Flying sailplane.
A couple of guys in the club let me fly thiers once in a while and they are very smooth flying and launch as good as any thing out there.
The workmanship is the Best.

Tragi quality is unmatched by anyone. I have flown two Tragi 705X's, both were great flying planes and I would recomend them.

The 705X is indeed a smooth flying quality machine.
I feel the MH32 airfoil is fine for heavy air (windy days), but suffers in dead air compared to the more modern air foils. I replaced my 705X with a Supra and haven't look back. In fact I have had several Supras since and Supras are still my TD plane of choice. The more modern airfoils handle all conditions well.

Thanks for the input . I have thought the same about mh 32 and have seen it fly ,and its not that good for calm days ,but i know the manufacturer and other guys flying with 705 and its said that you have to know hot to fly it or how it flyes, otherwise you cant get the whole peformance . There is coming a new model from Tragi ,first one should arrive in august , its totaly new ,with new wing profile, i have a 2m model with this airfoil and i out flied a pike once in calm steady air , and new much thinner fuselage with a longer rudder and a wingspan of 3.6 meters, seems very interesting , it seems that i ahave to wait for that but i could get my tragi in mid June ,but i think new model is worth for waiting .Have to get along with 2m model for now .

I have some images but they are not so detailed .But it gives the idea . Should make a thread when i get mine :D ? Im very excited how it is going to perform , buut theres time to it ,but i know that fuselage molds are ready and wing molds are being made at the time .Two months ,three the most .

Looks good - sharper nose :-)
I would like to use 705X as a windy weather F3J plane, but the blunt nose is not suited for competition landings. Shame, since the MH32 wing flies quite nicely. Maybe I can mate the old wing with the new fuse.

are we talking about the tragi 707? it's listed on the price list now.
Or is this a 80x tragi?
wish there would be a tragi 706 though.......
Tragis are great models though, in terms of ease of ownership. The build is dead easy. Everything is thought out on these. No bodging and modify needed. Quality is up there with anything i have seen.

I was thinking it was a pretty radical departure from the current and past models.
Dihedral in the center section, canopy instead of a nosecone, new fuselage with trick downward pointy nose and planform looks like it could be different too.
Should be interesting.

Dihedral in the center section
Last season I had a 705 with dihedral in ceter section and longer 3.5m wing. It flew quite nicely but I thought that the old fuselage was little short for the span (or tail was too small), so I sold it away. As far as I know, the new owner is quite happy with it.
BTW That version was 705 plus

The new one is going to be 801 ,and it will go into series in the winter .They need to test it and get thins corrected like with all new things . It will be 2cmm longer than 705 and it will be a calm weather model.I went to TRagi few days ago and ordered 705 wing .I dont Think that mh32 will be a problem . I have had some mh 32 profile section gliders and i like it very much , seems a bit faster and not so floaty compared to the new modified section . Saw the new fuselage too , felt very solid and was made of carbon and the nose cone was from kevlar/carbon cloth with very reasonable opening for inserting gear and a neat carbon canopy with very easy wire system to secure it .. Much narrower than the previous one , but enough room for the gear .There will be a fuselage version that fits with 705 series and it will be longer too .Thats what Heino told me .

At last my first fully molded sailplane . Very exited . Im waiting for the first flight , ah just cant wait it , very interesting .. Have to get the servos from somwhere, havent got the from NSP , fortunately Heino has some hs-5125 digitals ,im going to use those and self made ply servo frames . So i made some pictures of it . Wingspan is 348.5 cm/ 137,2" . The wing cost me 711 $.Good price, very satisfied with the quality . Centre piece d-box is a bit wider in the center to prevent cracks from the corners of the flaps .I dont know about the weight exactly but Heino said that its good , ill weigh them later . I think i have to order the longer fuselage with higher vertical stabilizer . Have to fly with the old one in the beginning .

Got to the part of installing servos and cables .Using four hs-5125 digitals .
I dont have a good camera but it'll do it . things are moving slowly now , got the centerpice servoframes in today , but it will be much faster with the ailerons . Less wires, original servo wires are exactly long enough that they reach to the centerpice connectors . Need those pushrods too . . Then have to get programming everything .

Hi,maidened my Tragi today . Had a good flying experience .Had some 7-8 flights in the evening . At first very light conditions but in the evening it was very quiet . Had and and accident too ; when i came to landing i didnt get my speed down and flew into my self ,but quit luckily .Hurt my hand and split the centerpiece's leading edge some 10cm lenght, nothing severe and almost broke the Tx antenna but have to replace it and broke a new switch what i installed the day before what was to switch between speed launch and neutral position . Have to practice alot and trim a bit .
