Developement Stages of Platform

Hi All:

I am looking at starting a platform from scratch as a side project to my PhD studies.

I want to look at a platform that would allow me to learn whatever I can through its development in terms of structural design, manufacturing processes, and especially the hardware/software side of things.

I have access to equipment and wind tunnels etc, but looking for someone to guide me through it.

1. Anyone interested in mentoring me through the process? I do the work, and you tell me what a nut I am and to go back to the beginning and start again).

2. Does anyone have plans/calculations etc thay are willing to share with me??
