Inspired by the fun of SSS and being a very long time x-plane user, I have built a small scenery set based on Woolacombe and Codden hill in North Devon UK for X-Plane9 (current new version)
And to help with that I've also modeled a few slope soarers.

Now its only going to appeal to a bunch of people if they actually have XP9 full version at the moment, but Im going to try and add Parker Mountain in west coast USA, which I think may fall into the scenery area used in the XP9 Demo, which means in theory anyone could try it in future ( for 5 mins until the joystick times out )

A nice cheap way into getting rc like stick control on xplane btw is an xbox360 controller or similar.

X-Planes physics are not quite as accurate as SSS and others on small models, as it tends to lean towards full size aircraft ( you can at least turn the amount of physics model passes up now to stop jitter on small models )
but its enough to provide some enjoyment and the wind model is moderately accurate on the slopes ( although I haven't tried DS'ing )

anyways heres a short video of an earlier version if you just want to take a look,

and a link to the file on x-plane.org (you will need to register to download, but then there are a few more RC models on there you can download now :) )
