Ordered a set of plans from Airage today...Beech Baron, calls for a pair of .10's this is planned for the winter build (currenty flying an Avistar) It'll be the hanger-queen untill I'm at the skill level for a twin. Was thinking about stepping up to a pair of 15's...any advice on the bigger engines? plan just states 10 (no engine range)

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Getting back into the hobby after a 6 year break

Hi, a larger engine might not fit the cowls. It'll also burn more fuel. The nacelles on the twin might not accomodate larger tanks. I'd suggest waiting until you've got the kit and had a good look around.
