FA021 Free Air MIG-21 Fishbed EPP ARF Pusher Jet
FA027 Free Air SU-27 Flanker EPP ARF Pusher Jet
FA029 Free Air MIG-29 Fulcrum EPP ARF Pusher Jet
FA039 Free Air JAS-39 Gripen EPP ARF Pusher Jet
FA159P Free Air L-159 ALCA EPP ARF Pusher Jet
Each of these EPP pusher jets comes completely pre-decorated and ready to assemble. The EPP parts are pre-cut and connect in a tab and slot arrangement that keeps things simple and accurate. All construction can be accomplished using Med CA and a little Kicker. Each of the jets uses the same power system and number of servos and a simple 3-channel radio with Elevon mixing is all that is needed. The jets can be flown indoors in a gym but their top speed is greater than this size venue allows. Outdoors, the jets really tear up the skies and are so tough that flying combat with your friends is tempting. Illustrated instructions show the steps required and assembly takes about 2 hours. Su-27 and Mig-29 have full flying stabilizer/elevons, JAS-39 has delta/elevons, Mig-21 and L-159 have ailerons and elevator.

I've been looking at these pushers jets and they look great! I'd really like to pick up the Mig29. Can I purchase one during the Memorial Day sale and get 20% off?

21 and JAS 39 are calling my name! C'mon and either let us do an order on these at 20% off or get 'em in stock so they qualify for the sale! :D

Thats what I'm saying. Everything I had wanted I looked up and they were all on back order (and thats stuff that usually instock).

Yeah... what gives?? Are they pulling stuff "out of stock" to control the sale or are they just selling out?
All of the stuff that I'm interested in is not available.

In the case of these beauties, I don't think they have ever had them in stock yet. They are brand new! I don't know how much longer I can resist pre-ordering one though! :p

Hey Hobby Lobby, do these planes have a true airfoil or is it just a flat piece of EPP? Still arriving on the 6th of June or??
Thanks!

Yeah, thats definitely the case with these... but I thought it was time to finally buy my Easy Glider Electric...no luck. How about that Easy Star for the FPV video setup? Nothing.. :(
Good question about the Airfoil... it sure looks like they're just flat foam. Pretty crde.
Still, I am interested...

I am thinking I read somewhere here on RCG that a few of the five DID have an airfoil? It looks like the L39 has one? And I thought I read somebody else saying that but I'll be darned if I can find it anywhere?!

I got up close to them at SEFF and seem to remember at least the Su-27 having an airfoil...

I need more than that Jeff! Otherwise I'll be switch from the JAS or Mig 21 to the SU27!
:)
I think the best performers will be the ones with the airfoils.

The Mig 29 and the Su-27 both flew at SEFF and rocked... LOL

Well FWIW, those of us whining about being able to pick one of these up at 20% off on the Memorial Day Sale...all of them are showing available now except for the SU27, which is showing 6/22 now. The sales banner is STILL up so you better jump! :p
Soooooo, I just snagged a JAS39 at 20% off! Thanks Hobby Lobby!
Now, I HOPE it does have an airfoiled wing...or you are in big trouble TRAM! :p

When does the banner die? I may get the 21...
The Suk is the brown/tan one right? LOL

The banner dies, well, when it disappears! That's what it said somewhere in the fine print I think. I still was having trouble deciding WHICH one I wanted. :p

Cool Jeff. I was torn between that one, the JAS39, the SU27, the Mig29 and the L159!
:p
You'll get yours WAY before I do since you are just a state or so away from the HL toybox. I expect photos. What power system you gonna use? And what if you get assigned to review the 21!? LOL
I guess we must definitely be outta control dude!

I picked up the SU-27 as wanted to try a jet, but didn't want to spend too much.
This thing is so nice to fly, loads of verticle, inverted low passes, nice rolls, scale looking in the air. And one of the fastest and easiest builds I've had. The hardest part was cutting a hole for the battery. Great flight times on a 3s 1050mah lipo too.
Got lots of good feedback at the field from other fliers. And it floats very well and almost harriers. Would ne intersting to see if a rudder could be fitted, but that might spoil the looks.

just got the JAS 39
didn't come with any instructions --- can someone show me how / where you specifically inserted the wing rods...
and more importantly - how / where specifically you configured servo and battery installation
seems like it needs to be cut into somewheres for the battery... ?
thanks for any sugestions...

contact the seller and ask for a manual.
my su-27 came with a decent one.
and yes, you have to cut the fuse under the canopy area to fit your batteries.
good luck, they are very nice planes, i love my su-27!

yeah i thought it should have come with one, I sent Hobby-Lobby an inquiry... that is shiesty i got no manual DANG-IT. I want to BUILD & FLY this weekend.
I may just go it alone. But don't want to cut for battery until i know an approx CoG. Ah well --- servos i'm thinking can be hidden in the interior section while running the rods through the EPP out to the flaps.
This thing is gonna ROCK i think on 3s lipos and 300watts... might get a little too fast though -- I'm thinking of adding a rudder as well, help with the slow speed control
