Try using "Poster Adhesive Putty" to mount the camera to anything. I used 2 small pieces about the size of a pencil eraser, or bigger if you desire, mounted just below the contacts on the back of the camera. Place one on each side of the camera. You can also you one solid piece if you prefer. Press the camera firmly to the object you want to mount to.
I just used the camera to inspect my rain gutters. I attached the camera to the back of a tiny pool brush that was at the end of a telescopic pool pipe. Went up 2 stories and looked right into the rain gutters. Worked like a charm.

I also mounted the camera underneath the wing of a Park Flyer and on a flatbed car of a model train -- standing up. The possibilities are endless. Follow the instructions supplied with the putty.
