I have gone and volunteered to be CD for a RES contest. Is there anyone out there that has a spreadsheet or program that can be used for a RES Contest.
There is one other thing, what would be a RES contest that would challenge experienced pilots to intermediate pilots with some beginners?

There is a scoring software application that can be downloaded from the SOAR club at soarchicago.net

We do alot of seeded man on man contests in our area, and we also do a monthly RES contest where you have to launch, within a minute, declare your task and fly it. the tasks are 4,6,8,10 and 12 minutes, plus measured landings. It is open winch, so you can sandbag to your hearts content, and poach others lift too.

The man on man contest, are fun, even if you are a beginner, because with the seeded MOM contests, you end up flying in groups with people with approx the same skill levels as yourself, and almost evolve into mini contests within the rounds.

Here is a smaller Excel type that we have been using in Houston. Instructions are on the tabs at the bottom.

Good for you! We need more volunteers in this hobby.

How would a RES contest be any different from any other TD contest? Should be the same thing, right? All you are doing is restricting the control surfaces available.

Launch, fly the task, land on the tape. That's the task regardless of what surfaces you have.

Then there are the bonus point items. For example, knock the cone off the outhouse and keep flying.

Limbo bars that you have to fly under and silly stuff like that.
