After months of testing, tweaking, presale and limited availability, Dimension Engineering is very happy to announce that the DELight system is finally in commercial release.
If you've been waiting for a really good scale lighting system for aircraft from parkflyers up to 1/3rd scale, this is it. Its fully programmable on six high-power output channels, with selectable trigger points, completely user-defined sequences, variable/programmable brightness and a slew of other features.
The LEDs in the system are half-watt, 15 lumens. They're supplied on 24" pigtails, and use standard servo type connections, so they're completely plug-and-play. What's more, you can use servo extensions or Y harnesses if you need extra reach and don't care to solder. The LEDs are bright enough to night-fly with a small number, by illuminating the body or winds of the aircraft.
The PC software, an easy-to-use GUI, is a free download and includes a simulator, which allows the user to test their programs prior to loading them onto the controller, or even prior to buying the system. PC to controller connectivity is via USB.

Like all Dimension Engineering products, DELight is designed and manufactured in the United States.
