I was just on the phone to Jotika to enquire about the late delivery of my Limewood planking. Apparently its on the way. I also asked about the Sea Commander and was told that kits would be available at the end of the year & that they were also hoping to release the 36" Crash Tender (Fire Boat) at the same time. The larger Crash Tender would follow.

For those who don't follow www.jotika-ltd.com I'm told own the rights to the old Aerokits designs.

Pat,

If I could have found planking locally I would have bought it but my LHS and internet searches did not find what I wanted.
Jotika's range of woods & sizes is pretty hard to resist...

They have beech coming too, so no more problems bending the chine stringers.

I got it partially built with the engine several years ago and finished it. It came with the original box and plans. It was imported by Octura in the 60s and they sold the O&R engine, mount, prop. etc. with the kit. The motor has been run but I never ran it. It is just taking up shelf space but it is nice to look at.
