Hey,
I did a quick search of the forum and a google search with no good results. Does anyone know where I can get a clear or transparent nose-cone to put on my airplane? Alternatively, is there any way to make one? I'm thinking about putting a camera on a gimbal in the nose of my aircraft, and I'd like for the camera to be able to see out pretty clearly...
Thanks.

I'm using one of their domes.... The quality is not excellent, but it will work. The edges are nowhere near optical quality and have major blemishes.

True optical quality is expensive.

Why a dome? I fly with several camera planes and they all have naked cameras on the nose; some on gimbals. Domes mess up the image too much.

It seems like, with a naked gimbal camera on the nose of the aircraft, moving the camera could dramatically change the drag on the airplane.

Thanks for the link. I'll probably end up with one of those, or something very similar.
