Hi Everyone,
I have purchased the Zwarte Zee (billing kit) and want to convert it
to rc.
I am a flyboy and not a water rat and wish to know what I need to do
to keep the water out, or to a minimum and what I should do to keep
the radio gear dry.
Does anyone have a piccie of their setup that i could use.
Any other hints also welcome (keep it clean...)
Thanks In advance for your help
Mike

Which version?
If it is the ABS version then no problems - just put in a standard prop
shaft etc. The wood version is more difficult - you need to first ensure
thathe hull is waterproof - You can line the inside with skinning epoxy
thinned down - it will then soak in to the wood- once dry (overnight) fill
the hull with water and look for leaks. Fix them before going on.
Graupner used to do a prop shaft assy for this boat but if it's not
available buy one or go to AsTec Models who can supply to order....
www.astecmodels.co.uk . For the rudder it is difficult. I built the rear
most deck fitting (the little gear cover) as a removable piece of deck then
mounted the rudder stock under it with the actuatore on top. The servo motor
etc was all in the main hull.
