Wow, I am in Ocala now and we did not hear about this until now. We are on the north east side of town, maybe I will go hunt for the little thing.

I actually heard about it at the American Heroes Helicopter airshow today here in Gainesville, one of the SAR team mentioned it to me. If you guys have kids you should try and attend one of these heli-only fly-ins, the kids love it!!

Nah, let the AF find it, they lost it.:D

The one that had the near miss over Kabul was a 68 foot span turbine powered Predator ; a hit would bring down a 747 no problem!

Aervironment doesn't need anyone's help with that. They are so deep into someone's pocket in the Pentagon, they're untouchable.

Mac,
Just to set things straight, the Raven has a 4.5 foot span. And, the near miss over Kabul was between a German Army Luna (14ft span) and an Airbus A300. You can see the onboard video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NOar22TX2k) . The Luna was so close it got upset in the wake turbulence and crashed. The last frame of the video is of the ground as the UAV is looking straight down!
Regards,
Chris
