For those of you with the U-NAV PicoPilot, can you tell me, when you program waypoints, do you plot, Long., Lat., and Altitude for each waypoint, or do you merely plot Long., Lat., and have a constant Altitude for the mission?

That's correct

Thanks for responding zlite, which is correct?:
1) longitude, latitude, and altitude for each waypoint
2) only longitude and latitude for each waypoint, and a constant altitude for the entire mission.
3) or both, optionally.
Thanks for the help,
Craig

#2 is the only option. Perhaps someone with the manual can take a photo showing the screenshot, or take a screenshot directly of the Pico WP editor. It only has provision for Lat and Lon. I don't own a Pico, but this info is available on UNAV's website in various places ("product matrix" pdf is one place)

dmgoedde,
Thanks for trying to help, but I was hoping to get some info from those who’ve used the PicoPilot. Of course I’ve read the U-Nav Website.

I use Pico Pilot. There are no provisions in Pico Alt to change altitude during autonomous mode. You fly to the altitude you want to run the mission at, and when you enable the device it uses a BP sensor coupled with the electronics to keep it at that altitude until you manually take back over and change the altitude.
Your #2 above is correct as Dean stated.

Sorry for the vague reply. As others have said, #2 is correct (I own a PP)
