Anyone know where i can buy a balanced prop for my mv ? i have tried to purchase one from twisted liquid to no avail . any info would be greatly appreciated !!!!

Try the Grimracer prop from Aquacraft. They are decently sharpened and balanced right out of the package.

I bought 4 props from Andy. They were sharp but not that well balanced. Normally I do my own but had to see how mine compared to his.
I do have 2 of his new CNC'ed props on the way though, billet steel for my gas boat. He is also making some very light aluminum ones too.

Thanks for the info !! Im curious how much more are the cnc props ? What do you know about the aluminum props ??

The initial prices/introductory offer are comparable to if not less than whatyou might pay to have an Octura balanced and sharpened. I've already seen 2 of the aluminum ones. They are amazingly light and very well done.

Are the aluminum props are cast or cnc ? I ordered a y 535 for starters . I bought the boat with a grim racer prop and gave it a try . major improvment over the stock plastic one it came with ! i am still playing with prop depth and angle . i cant wait to see what a sharp octura does for it !!!

Andy's props are all CNC'ed. He bought a big CNC to make engines with but so far he's playing with transom hardware and props. He's experimenting with different diameters, pitches and amounts of lift (3 stages, low/no, medium and high lift) to see what people like. The prototypes are going out the door cheap but expect the tags to go up later on.
