I just did a search on the forum regarding pitch and could not find anything on how you can measure an unknown prop...you can measure it and that is part of the equasion...and I understand the pitch is how far the theroetical distance the prop travels in one revolution...but before going to the lake I would like to label a few unknowns.

Right now I am running one of the Mini Cat series of props 36mmX35MM...it measures 35MM...

A question I have is which affects current draw the most a pitch change going up or down 1MM or a size change given that the prop is the same size or going up or down 1MM in size with a prop of the same pitch...I hope that makes sense?

from what I've seen going up in pitch(same dia) will draw less power than going up in dia(pitch staying the same) ex. going from an octura x432 > an x632 took less power than going from a 432 >a 435. reason a pitch change doesn't change the blade area much.
