I have a V2 that has been superceded by my new V3. I use a Dean's connector flight battery with a CC 10A regulator.
How good would the V2 FDR be for looking at total loading on the CC/flight battery combo. It would be way lower than a motor data collection, but it should still be able get something?

hi Oldeflyer,

Though the V2 may work just fine for this purpose, depending on how much resolution you need, we generally recommend our "servo current sensor" (which works with your V2) for measuring very low currents with very high resolution.

Hi Bill,

If I connect and install my servo current monitor microsensor before the battery switch (between battery and switch), will the device draw any power from the pack at all if left connected indefinitely? I don't want to discharge the pack at all when the systems are not running (Li-ion Rx pack). I'm assuming it's just a sensor and not something that consumes power from the pack. Please let me know so I don't inadvertantly over-discharge my Li-ion Rx pack

Thanks,

Mike
