I picked up a NIB Pulsar XL from Quality Fiberglass recently...after much thought (and a few barley pops), I've figured out MOST of the mods I'll be making, and started on the kit.
1) That fuse has got to go!- heavy old FG fuse with lighter, hybrid Rogue fuse, same tail moment, taller vert stab, yadda, yadda..Thanks, Don and Lenny!
2) Spars- yep....they went hasta la bye-bye too.....new spars are made up of heavy duty carbon, HL60 shear webs, and going to be wrapped in either FG or kevlar.
3) Empennage- rudder will be constructed in the Rogue fashion, Horizontal stabs will be cut down to a more manageable size....those things are barn doors stock!
4) Outer wing panels- will recieve an actual joiner and root rib, and have uniweb run out to the tip blocks.
I'm at work now, and only have a webcam, so the pics will come later, and won't be real clear.....
