governor only on at half stick! Why?

Hi everyone...
quick question. My governor only comes on at half stick. not a very good
place for it to start up coz when it does, i have to close throttle a bit so
that the heli doesnt life off. additionally, it takes a while for it to get
running at teh set head speed...
i am using the throttle stick to activate the governor and have followed the
instructions to a T. but it still only comes on at half stick...

Help! how do i make it start to govern at 20% stick?

The engine has to be 70% of set speed as well as 20% stick before it
turns on.
You probably need to up your Thr curve some to get it to spin faster
at lower stick so it gets to 70% engine speed by ther time you make
20% stick.

Hi there.
You have remembered to "teach" the governor your throttle-travel volume?
With this I mean that you have tought it where max, idle and stop are, so
the governor then knows how throw it has and has an idea of how much thortle
it has given.

Could be that Tim but am assuming he at least went through the steps
in the instructions which would give him the basic setup.
If that is the case and off.low.full is set then what I suggested I
would rank as the next best solution save another one..
if it is the set points not set right then I suggest he go through the
instructions fully and make sure it's all setup right not just set
points alone.
