Hi guys,
For my university we are designing a model powered by a JetCat engine. For the preliminary design phase we need to determine the component layout. I have not been able to find the weight and dimensions of the JetCat ECU anywhere, so I thought lets ask for it here.
Can anyone tell me the main dimensions and weight of the ECU? Other information is welcome as well.
If someone can give me an estimate, that will also do the job in case nobody knows the real specs.
Thanks! :)

The ECU is approximately 3 inches long, by 2 inches wide by 1 inch deep and weighs 3 ounces. Leave clear space at both ends for wires and plug in's. You know you will also need to leave space for the two valves and the remote component board?

Thanks for the reply Pilott28!
I know about the fuel valves and the remote component board (if that is the same as the LED I/O board). To be honest I just found out that I do not have any specs of those. If you could give me some specs, that would be really helpful :). Thanks for mentioning!
If there is anything else that I do really need to consider while configuring a jet model, please tell. I found this very handy document, maybe also useful for others:

The pump will require a space of about 1.25 inches by 2 inches. The gas and fuel valves are both 1 inch by 1.5 inches. For the pump, two valves, on board gas tank and filters, allow around 8 ounces. When planning, leave plenty of space in front of the pump for the fuel tubing. The valves need space to the side.
When planning, try to keep the fuel pump some distance from the ECU and the receiver well away from both. I normally set up the radio and servo wiring down one side of the aircraft, with the turbine connections, fuel and air systems down the other side of the aircraft.

Thanks Pilott,
Your information is very useful! Already found some info about placing the ECU and other electronics away from the fuel pump and other 'noisy' components.
Thanks again,
Luuk
