Hi,

Here we have our lovely spokesmodel Kady with an aircraft carrier hull. The hull is of an Yorktown class carrier. I was going to model this after the Jimmy Doolittle raid with CV-8 USS Hornet. You may do so or model any one of the Yorktown class carriers.

This kit comes complete with a TON of photoetched parts, railings, tiedowns, radars etc. Also included are 4 B-25 Mitchells used in the raid, teak for the deck, a Warships Unlimited book on Yorktown Carriers, full sized plans. You will need to fabricate some structures as well as the struts, motors r/c equipment and so on.

The hull itself is roughly 1/144th scale and it is approx 62" long. It is entirely fiberglass and was layed up by master modelmaker Leonard "Lenny" Black of "Battleshipmodels.com" It has molded in strut exits for the shafts, rudder, portholes, bilge keels, anchor hawsers. It will need a bit of pinhole filling in but should finish out very nicely. The kit itself sells for $539.00 + $12.00 shipping on Ebay, without any of the books or airplanes I have that go with it. If you want one of his ships finished (he does two per year) motorized will cost you $2400.00, display only-$1900.00 I would like to keep it and build it but I just have way too much stuff. So, I am offering it here for sale.

If you have any questions fire away. My e-mail address is paybillshere@mchsi.com As for shipping, I don't have a clue what it will cost. As it is fairly large I am sure it will go oversized. Of course, pickup is always an option.

As for payment, I will accept Paypal, personal check, money order or even cash (pickup only) If paying via Paypal please add 3% for their greediness. If paying via personal check thats cool as well but I will hold your kit until the check clears the bank. Usually that is about 10 working days. Any other forms of payment and it goes out to you ASAP. I will have to purchase a box and probably some packing materials so that will add to the cost. Most likely less than $20.00.

Anyway, thanks for looking and have a great day!
