For a little change of pace-Klein Associates, makers of sidescan sonars, has some amazing images .
Among my favorites are the images of thh SS Portland that went down in 1898. "New England's Titanic"-also the horse powered ferry at the bottom of Lake Champlaign-Vermont.
These images are unique.

That is so odd that a sonar has a shadow that is very equivalent to a light shadow. It almost looks like you are looking a good flash photography.

So when are we going to get a closeup of Nessie? She's probably camera shy due to those old sonars adding a thousand pounds or so. This one would probably only add about ten so she might pose for it. :D

I am actually working with L-3 Klein in my current assignment, another sidescan sonar product. L-3 Klein is one of my divisions companies. This is what is keeping me from the Dam.
