new to uav s... need guidance

guys.... this is saumya from India... actually our group is so much intersted with uav s... so we wanna prepare a uav.... why don some of u guys help us out because we don know the tip and tail of this project... please any one experienced can help us out... please...

Well - a warm welcome to the forum. I think you will find the members happy to help if you can provide some background information on exactly what it is you want to build - e.r. how large, what sort of equipment ....ect ect .....

Then you will get a good response. Its one of those subjects with so many variables involved that it really helps others a lot to help you if you supply as much info as you can about your project idea/objective.

Speaking for myself, my first bit of advise would be if you haven;t any xperiance with R/C type air craft - then get some, and start off with something cheap and simple.

hi... thanks for ur response... we are making this project for our college... so we would like to make a uav which uses more of aerodynamics and little of software and electronic applications... and constraints are like...
Weight: 18 lbs
Wing Span: 79 inches
Length: 67 inches
Engine: O.S. .91 DF
Fan: 6" custom
Computer: 386 w/XDos
GPS: Garmin Etrex
but as i am very much new to this kind of work.. i am not getting an idea of how and ahere of my start... so if u don mind can u help me out with this...
