I'm putting together and EDF Jet and have a question about using the CC BEC instead of a seperate receiver pack.

My setup will be a 4S4100 lipoly, CC PHX 80 ESC. I will be running 4 servos. 2-HS65's and 2-HS81 or 85. Also using a JR AR7000 or 6100 2.4 receiver.

I expect this motor to pull about 70A WOT. I would like to set the CC BEC for 6.0v to get better speed and torgue out of the servos.

Are there any issues I should be aware of using this setup? I really didn't want to mess with a seperate receiver battery and am hoping the CC BEC will work ok.

Thanks!

Scott,

I was concerned about interference with the BEC and reboot of the 2.4 receiver. I'll proceed with my current setup.

Thanks for the reply.

1. . CCBEC does not cause or create noticeable interference. Especially for users on 2.4.

2. Brownout. NOT A PROBLEM. CCBEC puts out tons of power. Brownout and reboot are issues for HORIZON to answer about, but if you have a properly powered system and you are not using very high load servos such as 8711 series, you will be fine.

That is great news. I will be using 4 servos, 2 hs-65hb's 1-HS81 and 1 HS85. I wouldn't think those are going to pull anything close to the CCBEC limits ;0) .

Thanks!
