Edit FDR data files

Hi,

I was trying to edit the FDR files by removing the unwanted session(s).

I figure out that in the begging of the file each session shows the start and end off each data section. For example:

Trex-600N_Pro
253 0 2 0 1 253 0 1 0 1 253 0 3 0 1 0 0 0 253 0 0 1 100 8 1536 6.22 294674 2 92
All Sessions
0 14436
Session 1
0 8574
Session 2
8575 14436

So if I want to remove "Session 1" I remove the data between 000 and 857400 and the top data will be:

Trex-600N_Pro
253 0 2 0 1 253 0 1 0 1 253 0 3 0 1 0 0 0 253 0 0 1 100 8 1536 6.22 294674 2 92
All Sessions
0 14436
Session 2
8575 14436

As far as I can tell the data of the remaining sessions displays correctly.

The problem with this "hack" is when you go back to the Data Recorder the "Choose Session" menu does not display correctly.

What else do I have to edit (if it's possible) to "fix" the "Choose Session" output?

Hi Neeek-
Have you tried saving just the session you are interested in?

I believe if you open the recorder file, you can then go to File> Save Sessions, and then choose which session to save.

I have been downloading my recorder file, renaming my sessions, and then saving the individual sessions I am interested in.

I am using data recorder version 6.33, I don't know if this is a new function for 6.33
