I've been into RC for a good while and now I’m getting into Power Kiting and Kite Buggying and wish to sell my almost new Edel Power Atlas paraglider to help fund my other interests. It is a size small. I thought I wanted to get into Powered Paragliding. It carried me (165 lbs) and a Fresh Breeze Simonini 110 motor with no problem whatsoever for 3 short (20 minute) flights. It sells new for $2850 at this site:

Here’s more info (including it’s manual) at this page:

Here are pictures of the actual paraglider for sell:

It was purchased new in March, 2007. I made 3 flights with it, totaling about 1 hour. I have kited it another 17 hours. The wing is fresh and crisp, like new, with a total of only 18 hours on it. It comes with a stuff sack and storage bag used when folded. It has A-D risers with trim tabs. It is rated as a DHV 1-2 and is suitable for beginners through advanced pilots.

This a great deal for someone getting into Paragliding, or Powered Paragliding, who is not wanting to spend top dollar for a brand new wing. It is barely used and well taken care of. I’m asking $1650 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 States.

If you have not flown paragliders before, training is mandantory. It can be very dangerous without it. It is also loads of fun to just "kite" it on the ground and never fly. That is what I thought I would keep it for, so I sold the motor. Now, I like power kiting as well, and can't afford to do both.

Thanks!

I sold the motor.....a little too much weight/effort for this 60 year-old. Only did 3 flights with it. It was interesting, but not enough for me to continue with the expense of getting a cart and training on that.

Anyway, it's a good crisp, almost new, paraglider! Mainly just a few hours of kiting on it.

You could get the paraglider, be learning to kite/fly it from the ground unitl you get a motor and training. My instructor said that it is good to kite 6 hours for every one youi fly. Now, I doubt many folks do that, but, the wing is what you are actually flying, not the motor, so I think it's good advice!
