I'm collaborating with another pilot and sharing FDR files with him. He doesn't have an Eagle tree system, but is interested in the data. He has installed the Eagletree Application, and all is well except we can not find a way to "calibrate" RPM between the two systems. (Well, I did find a way, and it worked, but it is an ugly hack)

The problem is, the only way to get to the calibration window to pop-up, is to have the Eagletree hanging on the USB bus. He doesn't have an Eagletree and I don't feel like shipping mine to him.

The only way I've found to hack around this is to export the "plane0" registry entry, email it to him, and have him merge it into his windows registry.

My suggestion would be to include the Gear Ratio in the FDR file, or have some method of selecting the gear ratio from the application while not connected the the flight recorder..
