I think we all know someone or are even like Mr. Lewis in some ways ourselves.
I wish we COULD do a dump of his brain into a database. We'd probably be surprised just how much he does know and that he thinks about things we'd never be able to comprehend.

i like people like that,different,evereybody has there nitch ans passion about something- my cousin is just the same way,only with military aircraft, he will sit out side of bases listening to scanners waiting for a paticular aircraft to come in only to take a picture of it. He can tell you anything about anything when it comes to Military aircraft.

I worked with a guy who's hobby was tape recording aircraft engine sounds. There were not many planes he could not identify just from the engines. He lived from EAA Fly In to EAA Fly In.
