Here are some photos of the 80" Carl Goldberg Super Decathlon I recently put together. The power system is the Extreme Flight Torque Revolution 4014T/570 Brushless Outrunner and 80 amp Airboss Elite ESC. I'll be using 4400 mah 4S packs with a 16-8 prop. The plane weighs 9 pounds ready to fly including the 19oz battery pack. I opened up the firewall for ventilation after these photos were taken.

It's raining so these had to be taken indoors. I switched out the steel tail brace wires with carbon fiber. Maiden flight when the weather clears. :D

Beautiful. Nice, clean conversion work.

The plane flew very well with only a couple of clicks of trim required. Way overpowered with a 16-8 APC-E prop. I'll cut back to a 15-8 prop for more scale flight characteristics. I have other planes to get my unlimited aerobatic fix. This is my cruise around plane. Field assembly is simple and quick. Highly recommended.

Congrats on the successful maiden. Out of curiousity, how many watts were you running (in) with the 16x8?

750-800 watts depending on charge state of battery pack, if my memory serves me correctly. The same power system and prop that I run in the 3DH 55" Extra.
