I'm struggling to solve my dillema, and as more heads know more, i turn to you guys.

I'm always trying to keep my packs within 80% discharge rate. As i got the Power panel or so called "gas gauge", i went ahead and used the data on the power panel instead of classic stopwatch.

I stopped my heli as the counter was at 2000mAh, which is 80% of my fresh 2500mAh lipos. I charged the cells and the schulze 330d displayed 2200mAh went back in the pack. I know the charger also counts the mAh's that go in and the balancer cancels out, but is the number that high?

What i'm trying to ask is, should i trust my charger and stopwatch, or is the "gas gauge" accurate enough so that i can relie upon?

Thanks guys! :)

Hi,

i'm using Konions, so no balancer is needed, and the power panel is almost spot on compared to what i charge back into the packs.

Greetings,
Michael.

I use the CellPro 4S, and I've also had a number of instances where the mAh put back in matched the mAh taken out exactly. Sometimes it is off because I've connected the battery for one reason or another without flying and my battery use is spread to more than one "Session". But I think it is very accurate.
