Free to a good home...but a little help with shipping and handling would be appreciated :)
Thanks!

I have things like that, too, one of them might even have ball-bearings already!
What to do?

if you have something like the blue motor what you do is get THICK wire and wind it than put a super big prop on it and see what happens and than you can power a slow stick with a 14" prop. lol I was looking for the hard drive motors like the blue one a while ago but no one had any.

Not those, the stators are too thin to get any power out of them.If I had three or four of identical motors,I could come up with something.

These are all homemade/salvaged motors that I use regularly.

Hey Guys...
I contacted the moderators to move this thread over to DIY now...so we can follow the lives of these motors :)
Wish I'd documented the demise of the DVD/VCR player they came out of...
ah well...
have fun!

Ron,I started with all the info I could find on the powerditto website(powercroco now).
Then I experimented with different winds,magnet combos,and stator heights.It ended up being 36.5 x 5mm 18n24p.

People will just about buy anything it appears anymore.
"Don't need any, but I'll take two mentallity", seems to be the norm.
