За тези които са имали взимане, даване с фабричния МК-17 ето една любопитна модификация (не вярвам да е фотомонтаж :) )

I have one sitting in my garage in Calif. Make offer. I've gone electric years ago.

Rob,

This is a mod on the original USSR made MK-17 disel engine. I do not have details I merely came accross the pic in a russian forum and posted it. According to the author of the original post it is glow, 4-stroke.
That's about it.

MK-17 were entry level mass produced C/L engines with rather dubious out of the box quality. They were popular in the '80s. I would conisder them unworthy of anything but a paper weight. These guys have reworked it quite nicely though...

Thank you for all who wrote. The version I have is the stock diesel, not the 4-stroke modification. It hasn't flown in 10 or 15 years, but ran well last time I started it. I have gone completely electric a long time ago

I still have the original box and Russian-language manual. I can help with translation if anyone wants. I'll post one photo here to not spam the thread, I have more (http://www.lib.aero/~ari/mk-17/) if you're interested.
