i got a su-27 flanker for christmas and my first flight didnt go too well it had hit a curb and the fan ducts got chipped a little on the outside and the tail peace in between the fans in the back was broke and it was all due to a steering problem ive fixed it and plan to try again sometime next week i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on flying this plane and any advice on take-off and landing would also be grately apreciated thank you

Hobby-Lobby has sold several different SU-27s. I reviewed one here is RC Groups back in December of 2007. If that is the model you have you can find my review at: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=771707 I hope that is of help to you. They had an earlier model with the same foam but it had brushed motors. I found mine to be a very nice and easy to control flyer. Excellent for a first time EDF pilot but perhaps to slow for a more advanced pilot who craves more speed. I still have mine and it is flying great. Avoid those curbs in the future. Good Luck: Mike
