i like the rtf models hl sells but i do not buy them because i do not need another plain 4 channel tx/rx even if they would be in 35 mhz.
so i like to ask other people if they agree with me that hl should sell these planes as plug and play versions too.
If you check other sources you see they do sell some of these models pnp so it is posible.

There are a number of planes that I would likely buy if an ARF or RxR version were available. I'm not sure how much of a cost savings the customer would realize, as the quality of the radios that come with many of the RTF packages requires a minimal additional cost for the manufacturer to include in the deal.
Ideally, I would like to see all the manufacturers offer versions of their planes in the manner that GWS does, where you can buy the NPS slopeglider version. All your hardware, airframe, etc is included in the kit, just no motor or any electronics. Since I build just about everything now with a BL motor/esc and 2.4ghz rx (and I don't trust servos included RTF packages), more options like that would be nice.
However, many (or most) of the vendors are just that: vendors. They don't make the kits or decide what is included. They are often at the mercy of the manufacturers, just like we are. There is always the option of building any package plane from replacement parts, but that tends to be more expensive at times than just buying the whole darn package, and you can never be quite sure that you ordered all of the necessary parts.
