Hi,
I've recently purchased Seagull Pro with FCC transmitter. First I connected the recorder with the USB cable and configured the recording settings and so, and played a little to see if it is functioning correctly. Then I wanted to clear the recorder's memory before starting measurements, and I clicked on the "clear recorder" button on the R/C data recorder screen.

My computer (Windows XP) got freezed and terminated the R/C data recorder. Now, I get only a constantly on indicator LED on the recorder (both powered up from USB or reciever's servo channel) and the R/C data recorder freezes every time I connect the recorder through the USB port.

What can be the problem, and how can I solve it? any suggestions??

Hi emreyk,

It sounds like the PC froze during a firmware update? All you should need to do is connect the recorder to USB, and click "Tools, Firmware Control" and click the "update firmware" button. Let me know if that does not solve it.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the response. My computer didn't freeze during the firmware update, but when I clicked the "clear recorder" button on the R/C Data Recorder. Now I don't get a blinking LED on the recorder, it is constantly on whether I power it on the servo channel or USB port.

And when I connect it to my computer, R/C data recorder freezes and I cannot do a firmware control or anything else. The R/C recorder works fine if I don't connect the recorder.

Best Regards,

Emre
