Hi i bought today a dx6 transmiter parkflyer pack (Ar6000 and 4 servos) but it has no charger! Is it possible to charge it without the original charger ? what kind of charger will it use? Or could i use DIY charger?
could you guys give me a hand? I dont want to order a charger, because it will take to long to arrive.
many thanks

I also have a DX6. If you are using the stock Ni-MH battery supplied with the radio, a DIY Wall Wort 12v 100 to 500ma power supply will work. If you intend to use an 11.1v LiPo to power your radio, you will need a Balance charger, and will have to charge the LiPo without going through the radio charger. If you use a Wal Wort charger, just be sure of the Polarity of the plug before you plug it in.
Another thing, if you purchased your radio system from a Distributor, all you have to do is call Horizon Hobby TECH SUPPORT, and they will send you out a charger for FREE.

A Standard 12v@500ma wal wort power adaptor. Just make sure of the plugs polarity before you plug it into the radio.

The Spektrum, like the JR, has a negative center pin on the standard battery charger connection. Don't use any charger that has a positive center pin, such as Futaba, or Hitec or you'll pop the fuse in the transmitter.
