Hello guys. :)
I would like to know what mods to make in my sim cable so that i can use it with my walkera 0701 tx with Reflex xtr. My tx is pcm and not ppm.
also i would like to know how to set the dip switches behind the Tx so that it can be used with the sim.
Regards :)
Minar. :)

To quote the Reflex website (always worth checking the manufactures website first ;) )
Just to remind you: The REFLEX model flight simulator needs a PPM signal so please set your radio to PPM. If you have a Walkera 0701 transmitter, please change the Reflex dongle setting to read this PCM signal. Any kind of other PCM mode will be recognised as a wild up and down of signal that gives you no control at all.
If you are not sure on how to change the setting in the Reflex dongle then I would suggest dropping them an e-mail for more detailed info.

You can download the manual for this TX from Walkera site (for some reason, there's no link for this particular model, but the manual is still there):
http://www.walkera.com/en1/fileDown.jsp?file=%2Fcn%2Fupload%2Fexplain%2FWK-0701_expe.pdf&la=en
This TX cannot be switched to PPM and Reflex dongle doesn't support Walkera PCM protocol, which is different from PPM or Walkera PPM version. If Ikarus answers that their dongle should work with WK-0701, they don't know what they are talking about!
Some other simulators, like AeroFly Pro and FS One, allow the use of third-party interfaces (as long as the original dongle is plugged in too), which would allow you to use your TX with a suitable interface. Unfortunately, Reflex XTR doesn't have this feature, so, you won't be able tou use your TX with this sim...

Hi Malc, You seem to know a lot about Reflex XTR. Do you happen to know how to contact them about getting a Dongle repaired? I have been trying for 3 weeks to contact them via their website and they never answer.
Thanks in advance, John

Hi John,
I was privilaged enough to be sent one of their iVols a couple of months before Wolfgang announced it to the world, and used to have lots of disscussions on and off this board. I did have a direct e-mail address for him but have sinced lost it through several PC rebuilds. If I can locate it again I'll drop you a PM so we can see if we can get this dongle repaired / exchanged
